Location

Barcelona holds the best of both worlds: beachside fun and all the cultural attractions of one of Europe’s most admired cities. A hub for fashion, music, cuisine and the arts, students can benefit from all Barcelona has to offer as well as the quiet and relaxation of Mediterranean shores. What’s more, this is a great opportunity for youngsters to discover the peculiarities of Catalonia and Catalan culture, gaining a unique understanding of Spain’s regional differences.

Facilities

Our summer camp is located in a residential area full of cottages and green areas. It is located outside the city center of Barcelona but has excellent connections thanks to its proximity to the metro station Mundet (just 20 minutes by underground).
The camp consists of a modern residence in which students live and attend classes. The residence has spacious rooms, all very bright, and a lot of common areas. It also has a terrace with access to a garden and sports facilities for student use.

General characteristics:

  • From 5 to 18 years
  • 40% international students and 60% Spanish students
  • 100% supervisados por adultos
  • 100% supervised by adults

Dates:

The start dates in Barcelona for 2012 are: 01/07, 15/07 and 29/07

Accomodation

Student may choose to live in a residence hall with other campers, or with a host family.
The ones who choose the residential program will be hosted in rooms for 3 or 4 students. All of them are bright and have their own bathroom.
Host family campers will spend the weekends and nights at home, but participate in language classes and activities with their new international group of friends during the day.

Classes

Spanish and English summer classes in Barcelona will take place:

  • in the mornings from Monday to Friday
  • with 4 lessons of 45 minutes
  • with a maximum of 14 students per class, average 9

At the end of the program and after completion of the course, students receive a certificate along with a progress report.
