Location
Granada is a picturesque city ideally set at the foothills of the Sierra Nevada and just 45 minutes from the ″Costa Tropical″. It′s a great place for youngsters to discover many of the highlights of Spanish culture, from incredible relics of the past like the Royal Chapel and stunnig Alhambra to signature traditions like flamenco and tapas. Granada′s moderate size makes it an exciting yet manageable city for students to explore.
Facilities
Classes are held in a school near the residence hall, and both are conveniently located in near the center of Granada.
Accomodation
The Granada Junior Program offers residence stays – with students divided by age and gender in dormitory halls – and the option of living with a host family. The host family will welcome students into their home to sleep and spend the weekends, but the youngsters will still spend all day learning languages and doing activities with their companions.
Activities & Excursions
Our summer excursions are designed for juniors to cover all the most important regional highlights. First and foremost they′ll get to know the city itself and see the Alhambra, one of the world′s most magnificent modern wonders. Students may also enjoy trips to Córdoba, Sevilla and the Costa del Sol. Program activities are always age-appropriate and encourage students to have an active summer, with sports, parties, workshops and more.
